Our not-for-profit art program focuses on getting Veterans and members of the CAF trying new art forms. We're privately funded and are constantly looking to add new art programs. Our programs are free for Veterans and CAF members.
Our workshops have you learning alongside other veterans and serving memebers. Camaraderie is easy since we all have so many shared experience and stories. There is no formal therapeutic component to the weekends. We learn, we try and we laugh.
CWO Christopher Hennebery founded the program as a means to get more of his peers actively painting. Since then it's grown into other mediums including Axe Forging and Ceramics.
What is the Veterans Artist Collective?
TPL supports many veteran programs across Canada and are a top-tier sponsor of the collective.
The Veterans Artist Collective is supported by the BC Yukon Legion as well as local branches across the province.
TVAC could conduct any of it's programs without the generous help of the Honour House Society and access to Honour Ranch.
There are so many ways to get involved in the Veteran Artists Collective. Drop us a line to find out about events, volunteer opportunities and fundraisers!
While we were founded in BC, we're actually looking to run our weekend workshops all over Canada. Look at Events to find a workshop near you or reach out via email. If you would like to host a weekend, get in touch.
