Creating art is a great way to get out of your own head. We create weekend programs that introduce Veterans to new art mediums.
We're focusing on creating artistic outlets for serving members so they can develop proactive ways to handle stress and trauma.
Create a body of work to raise money/awareness for veteran programs through auctions and national gallery showings.
"It was a pleasure and honour meeting you and the others at the Honour Ranch and participating in the Veterans Plein Air Retreat. I was skeptical attending as I had no painting experience, however, everyone made me feel comfortable and welcome. I found the painting to be very relaxing and enjoyable. A great stress reliever. You have opened my eyes to the beauty that surrounds us that I had not noticed or paid attention to in many years. I even took pictures during my trip home of things I'd like to paint. I will continue to paint and hope to attend another event next year and see how I have progressed." Angela R
In order to attend our events we need some basic information from you. If you're selected to attend the event we'll get back to you shortly to get more information and confirm your details. If you are selected, we'll require a $100 fee to book your space. The $100 will be sent back you after the event.
Thanks for supporting the Veterans Artist Collective.
